About the Salient Achievements of the Department:   Successfully completed clinical trial on Melia azadiracta against Paramphistomiasis of Cattle and Alium sativum against Coccidiosis in Goats. Hydroethanolic extract of Melia azadiracta @ 750 mg/kg. b.wt. once orally was found to be 100% effective against Paramphistomiasis in Cattle and metabolic extract of Alium sativum @ 100 mg/ kg. b. wt. orally for 14 days was found to be 100% effective against cocidiosis in Goat.
